He was a member of three contemporary Christian bands, singing, playing guitar and writing songs. He admittedly has neglected some of his gifts in recent years, though he has sung in church choirs more recently.
He has been an ordained youth minister and founded four ministries working for an organization called Young Life in different towns that are still thriving decades later. He has spoken at churches and non-profit organizations, including giving keynote talks at fund-raising events.
He has been a professional actor on a part-time basis in movies, TV shows, commercials and on stage. Among those experiences included very small parts in
films and TV shows with Jack Nicholson, Danny Divito, Bruce Willis, Theresa Russell, and Martin Sheen. It is another area in which he has not been able to spend time in recent years but is thankful for his experiences.
“I discovered why people call us ‘starving artists’ and I had to get a ‘real job’ “ That led to his career in the world of financial planning and investment management, which is still his “main gig”. Among his achievements has been founding a financial company, and receiving 5-star ratings as a mutual fund manager.1 More recently he merged his company with Quantum Financial Advisors where he is Director of Wealth Management.
Along the way he became an award-winning author, having written three books and a couple workbooks. And he has taught and given
inspirational talks to a variety of audiences, from church and non-profit organizations to business, educational and civic groups.
But the most important experiences have centered around faith and family. He is greatly thankful for his blended family including 8 children and 10 grandchildren. “Above all, love…” (1 Peter 4:8)
Mr. Weisbrod is very open about sharing his failures. He calls them “treasures”. He is so thankful to God for forgiveness and grace.
And he would be thankful to have the privilege of addressing your group. He has spoken to many groups, been interviewed on TV and quoted in various publications. Click below for his speaking topics and know that he can adapt his content to your people and purpose.

I have known André Weisbrod for well over 50 years in numerous capacities and am honored to call him my lifelong friend. André possesses a unique blend of a lifelong commitment to Jesus Christ; decades of business experience and acumen; increasingly uncommon common sense; and a winsome, engaging manner. We live in a time of moral and ethical relativism with any sense of “true north” long gone in the rear view mirror. Optimism for the future is waning rapidly, particularly among the young. Andre’s seasoned counsel provides a time tested, wise and joyful way forward, and is a tonic for the soul. I heartily recommend my friend André Weisbrod.

This book made me appreciate my current freedoms but also invoked a sense of urgency to be able to keep them. You need to read this from any perspective, whether you are liberal, conservative, or independent. Mr. Locke has great insight and a long history with freedoms and how the American system works. He looks at the whole notion of freedom from an unbiased viewpoint. Thanks for writing such an insightful book. Next time don’t take so long to write it.
